Information Systems Implementer – Insurance Industry Experience

abra professional services is seeking an Information Systems Implementer with experience in the insurance industry to join a role that combines strong insurance domain knowledge with a technological and system-oriented approach.

In this role, you will be responsible for system implementation, requirements analysis, business specifications, and ongoing collaboration with both business and technology teams.

This is a full-time position, located in central Israel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write functional specifications for business rules and processes.

• Maintain system tables and handle ongoing change requests.

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into system solutions.

• Analyze system issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide effective solutions.

• Identify opportunities to optimize and improve existing business and system processes.

• Implement and maintain system tables related to operational and production processes.

• Lead tasks and projects from the requirements and specification stages through system implementation.

• Work as part of a large implementation team while independently managing and taking ownership of assigned tasks.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Previous professional experience within an insurance company, combined with a technical background and hands-on experience working with information systems.

• Relevant technological background, such as a technical/scientific degree or previous professional experience in IT.

• Strong technical capabilities and technological orientation – mandatory.

• Strong system-level thinking and ability to understand complex business and technological processes – mandatory.

• Ability to drive processes and independently manage tasks from requirements through implementation – mandatory.

• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously – mandatory.

Advantages:

• Familiarity with IT infrastructure environments.
